Brief History Of Islam Part (4 of 5)

When our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) had died, Muslims was in serious trouble. There was no leader after Muhammad (P.B.U.H); there were 4 people who deserve the tag of leadership. Abu bakr Siddique, Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Usman and Hazrat Ali (R.A). Mutual discussion by the people of Muslims community they recommend Hazrat Abu bakr Siddique as a leader of Islam from here the Khilafat movement had started. There is no doubt about the qualities of all but Hazrat Abu bakr Siddique took the place of Prophet for public prayer during last days of our Prophet (P.B.U.H). Everyone agreed on the name of Hazrat Abu bakr Sidiqque (R.A). Now Hazrat Abu bakr Siddique (R.A) was the leader of Islam and He was responsible to lead Islam according to Quran and Muhammad (P.B.U.H) teachings.

The period of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (R.A) movement was short but in this period He rules the nation with intelligently and according to the teaching of Islam. He was very merciful, sympathetic and brave Caliph of Islam. The second Caliph after the period of Hazrat Abu bakr Siddique (R.A) was Hazrat Umar (R.A). Hazrat Umar (R.A) was also known as Ameer-ul-momineen, He was brave and stiff with His decision. In the period of Hazrat Umar (R.A), Islam extended to Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Persia where surprising victories had achieved under the supervision of Hazrat Umar (R.A). Four years after the death of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), Hazrat Umar (R.A) took Islam to the height of success. The famous battle fought in the period of Hazrat Umar (R.A) during sandstorm near river Yarmuk in which Byzantines got serious defeat by Muslim. The ruler of Byzantine was Heraclius who refuses to accept Islam on the call by Hazrat Umar (R.A).

One year after the battle of Yarmuk, Hazrat Umar (R.A) was resting in a military camp near Golan Heights, Byzantines ready to surrender Jerusalem. After that a treaty was signed in which it was clearly mention that, Muslims will not occupy your churches nor destroy. This behaviour from Muslims inspired many non-Muslims and later on many Christians accept Islam. The period of Hazrat Umar (R.A) was one of the best periods because first time Hazrat Umar (R.A) introduces the laws and ministries for better management. Hazrat Umar (R.A) served as a Caliph of Islam for 10 years and ended his period with such an excellent victory over Persia.

Hazrat Umar (R.A) had rule significantly and took the Islam to the height of success. Hazrat Umar (R.A) is very much famous for His justice, His ideas, the way of administration and many other factors. The life of Hazrat Umar (R.A) has a beneficial impact on the people of Islam at that time. After the death of Hazrat Umar (R.A) this was another big loss of Muslims after Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H). After that the net Caliph movement was Hazrat Usman (R.A) which is also a very well known companion of Prophet (P.B.U.H). The caliph movement leads the Islam to the height of success.
